Good news for pasta lovers! Those who eat pasta are considered healthier than those who do not, according to science. Researchers from Nutritional Strategies, Inc. presented a new study that showed that people who eat pasta tended to eat less saturated fat and less added sugar.

This study also saw a correlation between eating pasta and getting enough of certain essential vitamins. If people ate pasta then they tended to get enough dietary fiber and folate as opposed to those who stayed away from the dish.

Everyone's favorite Italian dish has been seen in the diets of people who, overall, ate much healthier than those who didn't eat pasta at all.

There is so much that you can do with pasta that it makes sense that this would be the case. Add in broccoli or fresh garlic, heart-healthy olive oil or nutrient-rich ricotta. The possibilities are literally endless!
