Prisons In Sweden Not Known For Their Dental Care!

Have you ever wanted to go to the dentist?  Me either!  It must be an emergency if you would do what this inmate did to get to the dentist!

A 51 year-old inmate had such a bad toothache that he actually broke OUT of prison, went to the dentist, then turned himself back in!  Amazingly, the poor guy was scheduled to be released the next day anyway so his sentance, originally one month, was only increased by one day.

He told reporters he had been complaining to prison officials about the pain for four days and finally busted out because he "just couldn't stand it" any longer. So the bad news is healthcare in Swedish prisons sucks. But the good news is so does the security! (Huffington Post)
