This one was surprised me because I believed the all myths!

Despite what you might have heard, the fact is that your hair and fingernails do not keep growing after you die. This is because in order to grow new cells you need glucose, which stops producing once your body dies.

According to an article by Claudia Hammond, "A layer of tissue beneath the base of the nail called the germinal matrix is responsible for producing the vast majority of the cells which form the newest-growing part of the fingernail...Death puts a stop to the supply of glucose, and therefore to fingernail growth."

A similar process happens with our hair.
