How this for kicking yourself! M&M's had a chance to be the candy featured in "E.T.", but they turned it down! Reese's Pieces jumped at the chance and experienced a 65% jump in profits. In my opinion Reese's Pieces are better than M&M's anyway! But I will always associate them with "E.T."!
