Recipe Of The Week- Easter Basket Cookies

These are the cutest Easter cookies ever!

Sugar cookie dough (homemade or store bought)

Colored sugar

Shredded coconut

Green food coloring

Frosting

Egg shaped candy

Shoestring licorice

All you do is make a sugar cookie recipe. Take and roll dough into balls.

Roll the balls into colored sugar and press into a mini muffin tray.

Bake.

While they are baking, take some shredded coconut and add a little green food coloring to make the grass.

Fill the cooled cookie with your favorite frosting, I used cream cheese frosting.

Sprinkle with green "grass" and top with "eggs".

I used malted milk eggs or you can use jelly beans.

For the handle just cut a piece of shoe string licorice and loop it around, the frosting will hold it in place.
