I stumbled across this recipe and can't wait to try it! It's like an Italian sub WITHOUT the bread! So if you eat gluten-free like me or are watching your carbs, this is perfect! Plus this looks like a really good dish to bring to a BBQ.

  • Large head Iceberg lettuce
  • ¼ lb hard salami
  • ¼ lb pepperoni
  • ¼ lb ham
  • ¼ lb turkey
  • ½ cheese (your choice)
  • ⅛ C Italian dressing
  • small onion thinly sliced
  • 2 medium tomatoes cubed
  • 2 - 3 TBSP mayo
  • ½ tsp Italian Seasoning
  • Optional ingredients
  • black olives
  • sweet peppers
  • hot peppers
  • pickles
  • cucumbers
  • peppers
  1. Clean lettuce and tear into bite size pieces and place in large bowl with onion.
  2. Chop meat and cheeses into bite size pieces
  3. Toss together.
  4. Add dressing and toss again.
  5. Add mayo and toss again.
  6. Add more dressing or mayo if needed.
  7. Add any optional ingredients.
  8. Sprinkle with Italian Seasoning.
  9. Gently fold in Tomatoes.
  10. Chill and serve immediately
