This will impress your family, your guests, and yourself! It's a simple and easy recipe that you could make tonight for dessert! Take a look!

This recipe is so easy! I was thinking in the fall you could make this and add some baked apples if you wanted. But this will be amazing as is!

  • 1 box of white cake mix ( I will use a gluten free cake mix)
  • 1 jar of caramel topping
  • 1 container of white frosting
  • 1/2 cup of sour cream
  • Sea salt

So make the box cake according to the directions. Once that is done stir in the sour cream. Line a baking pan with parchment paper to make it easier to remove the cake. Bake according to the box instructions.

Let it cool a bit then poke holes in it with a fork. Pour half of the jar of caramel topping over the cake. Spread it all around. Let it sit for a few minutes to allow the cake to soak up some of that caramel topping.

Mix the frosting with the rest of the caramel sauce. Spread the frosting over the cake. Top with a sprinkle of sea salt.
