Recipe of the Week – Zucchini Crust Pizza Recipe
If you're watching your carbs or you have a gluten allergy, you're probably craving pizza. Well here is a recipe where you use zucchini for the crust! What a great healthy alternative and an awesome way to get more veggies into your body....maybe even your kids! Check it out!
- 1 large egg or 2 small ones
- About 3 small-medium zucchinis
- 1 1/2 cups grated parmesan or mozzarella.
- salt Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
- Grate the zucchini.
- Sprinkle salt on the zucchini and stir. Let it sit a few minutes.
- Squeeze the water out of the zucchini....this step is very important!
- Bake in the oven and cook until it has browned, about 15-20 minutes.
- Then top with your favorite pizza toppings and bake until cheese is melted!
