I can remember the awesome that was Prince. Prince was born Prince Roger Nelson on June 7, 1958 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. All through my childhood years Prince was the soundtrack to epic dance parties and fun. This guy was always interesting to watch as he evolved in the music business. He always seemed to know how to reinvent himself as an artist and come out on top.

Prince was multi-talented and could do any music he liked really. From Radiohead to Jimi Hendrix he could put his unique voice and style on anything! Here's Prince killing it with Radioheads "Creep" at Coachella:

"With huge hits like "Little Red Corvette," "Cream," "1999" and "Purple Rain" and a lot of covers, such as the Beatles' "Come Together," Sarah McLachlan's "Angel," Santana's "Soul Sacrifice" and the B-52's "Rock Lobster."

- Rolling Stone

The talent from this guy was impressive. Even after pushing his record label's buttons by changing his name because he was fighting the record industry in general:

Making statements and pushing the envelope was what it was about for Prince, and he will be sorely missed.

To memorialize a legend, we will air a one hour special at 7pm tonight.

Prince -- Death of a Legend.

We will honor the memory, and music of the unforgettable... Prince.
