Only two weeks after he was arrested for marijuana possession, Rick Ross has been arrested in Fayette County, Ga. However, this time it's for kidnapping, aggravated battery and aggravated assault.

According to Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Rozay and his bodyguard, Nadrian Lateef James, were arrested on Wednesday morning (June 24) after an investigation regarding an assault which occurred at a residence on Highway 279 that started on June 7. Ross was getting work done on his mansion in Fayette County when he allegedly got into an altercation with one of the hired workers and "pistol-whipped that person."

In a statement by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, both Ross and James were arrested "without incident." They are both being held at the Fayette Country Jail and are awaiting their initial appearance in front of a judge and the bond hearing.

This isn't Ross' first time in handcuffs. The Maybach Music Group honcho was taken into custody on June 10 for a midemeanor marijuana charge in the same county. He was also arrested for pot in Miami (2008), Louisiana (2011) and North Caroline (2013).

Attorneys for Rick Ross had no comment on the matter.
