Uh-oh. The gloves are off, as actress and choreographer Rosie Perez, who made a name for herself in the late ’80s and early ’90s with as a sassy actress in films like ‘Do the Right Thing,’ ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ and ‘Fearless,’ goes after diva Jennifer Lopez in her new memoir.

The New York Post published quote excerpts from Perez’s ‘Handbook for an Unpredictable Life,’ out Feb. 25. In the book, Perez makes some sensational claims against Lopez.

Perez and J. Lo met in 1991 at a casting call for ‘In Living Color,’ the sketch show on which Perez served as a choreographer. While Perez instantly wanted to hire La Lopez, show host and creator Keenan Ivory Wayans was not impressed, calling the upstart with the derriere both “chubby and corny.”

Perez took up the cause and convinced her boss to hire Lopez. She got the job after cutting her hair and shedding 20 pounds, according to Perez’s claims.

To hear Perez tell it, backing J. Lo was a mistake, since she quickly let her diva side out.

“All of the girls were coming into my office complaining how she was manipulating wardrobe, makeup and me, all to her advantage,” the actress stated in her book.

Lopez chalked it up to jealousy and blew up at Perez “like some ghetto biatch, screaming and pounding her chest,” according to the author.

She also writes that Lopez said, “You pick on me, me and only me, every f–king day! Every f–king day! I work my a– off, deliver and you keep pushing me aside, treating me like s–t! I know I’m good! I’m better than any of these girls, and you know it.”

Lopez lasted two seasons as a Fly Girl and went on to make “disparaging comments” about Perez when she was on her way up.

That totally shocked the actress. “I was blindsided,” Perez reveals. “I’d thought we were cool. I called her up. She wouldn’t pick up. Frustrated, I left her an irate message on her answering machine. Instead of calling me back and hashing it out like friends do, she went on a major talk show and reiterated my lashing.”

The ladies ran into one another at a club, with Lopez acting like everything was fine and dandy. “Jennifer came over to me, smiling, saying hello as if nothing had happened. I should’ve let it go, played it off, too. Instead, I killed her with my biting tongue,” Perez writes.

Hmm. Sounds like a lot of “she said, she said” drama.
