Binghamton’s Ross Park Zoo is looking for a name for its rare Red Panda cub.

The baby boy was born July 7th and will be introduced to his adoring public August 31.

Red Pandas are threatened in their natural environment in the Himalayan Mountain area of Asia and are part of the Species Survival program of zoos.

Binghamton’s zoo on Morgan Road on the South side is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the last admission sold at 4 p.m.  Admission is $8 adults and $6 for children aged 3 to 11.
