When Karen bought her son Andy a doll named Chucky, she had no idea the living hell it would bring into their lives. Kind of like what all of the people who a bought the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 are going through. Just like Chucky, the Galaxy Note 7 looked innocent enough. Until the world realized it wasn't.

More than a million people flocked to stores around the country to pick up the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 when it was released.  And that's when things started to go horribly wrong.

If you're one of the poor souls who bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 7, you need to get yourself back to the store where you bought it as soon as you can because Samsung has officially issued a blanket recall of the phones. And the reason is pretty terrifying.

Samsung announced on Thursday that they're taking back more than a million Galaxy Note 7 phones that were manufactured before September 15th because of a severe fire hazard.  How severe? Well, the company says that it has 92 reports of batteries overheating, resulting in 26 injuries and 55 instances of property damage...including fires.

Replacement phones are expected to be available by next Wednesday, September 21st.
