Shelves are Clearing Out at Local Grocery Stores as People Prepare for Hurricane Sandy
All weekend long, people have been rushing to their local stores to stock up on supplies for Hurricane Sandy. I am in no way taking the weather channel's warnings lightly. However, late last night I realized I really didn't have much food in the house since I was due to go grocery shopping. I ended up going out around 11pm last night with some friends to stock up. Here's what happens when you wait to long to get your storm supplies...
I didn't need any eggs but here's a look what the egg shelf looked like...
Gatorade is a hot commodity during this time. But, I decided to get Hawaiian Punch instead.
If we lose power, it looks like I'll be sitting in the dark.
Bread was the one item that I was almost completely out of. Clearly, I had no luck here so I decided to go to another grocery store...
I didn't have much luck here either. I left with a 4 pack of hamburger buns. I guess those will do...
