Binghamton City School officials are contemplating the banning of hooded sweatshirts in the district.  It all stems from the Dignity For All Students Act which is legislation aimed at bullying.

The Act promotes tolerance of others as well as respect and dignity within the schools for other students and teachers.

Binghamton School officials say they are reviewing the code of conduct for their schools and say that a dress code change may be in the works, including the hoodie ban, and any other clothing that hides a student's face.

So what do you think?  Do you see the correlation between bullying and students' attire?  Let us know what you think.  First, take the poll below, then leave your comments below or follow the conversation using #BinghamtonHoodieBan on Twitter.
