The students of Sandy Hook Elementary will be returning to school in the new year. However, they will not being returning to Sandy Hook, they will attend classes at another school nearby. The National Parent Teacher Association (PTSA) has requesting that people come together to make their new school welcome them with a winter wonderland!

This is where we come in! We can create our own snowflakes and send them to the school to contribute to the winter wonderland! They are already receiving unique snowflakes from around the world! Don't forget that no two snowflakes are alike so get creative and use your imagination!

What these kids have been through is something that I can't even fathom. Hopefully, walking into their new school decorated like a winter wonderland will just be a little something to lift their spirits, even just a little. This is something that would be a nice family craft to do over the holidays or a nice craft to do in classrooms in schools as well! They ask that snowflakes be received by January 12th.
