The lyrics contain over 100 events in history between 1949, the year Billy Joel was born, and 1989.

The song is on Billy's 'Storm Front' album, and topped the US charts at number 1.
It can be a tough song to sing, especially when done live, because one missed event can turn the song into a disaster.
This year, someone decided to tackle it with events limited to 2013, and it turned out to be awesome!
