Starstruck: Local Talent Spotlight

Starstruck, formed in late 2009, consists of producers/songwriters iDavis (Tyree Davis) and Nick York (Nick Masucci). Tyree started out DJing at a popular club in Morgantown, WV but then decided he would start making his own tunes in the comfort of his dorm at West Virginia University. Nick started out playing drums in a band then began recording other artists in his bedroom turned to studio.

After dabbling with piano, singing and other instruments he started recording his own music where he later found Tyree and joined forces.

Starstruck, ranked highly on various musical and social media platforms across the Internet, have gained a strong local, national, and international following. Strongly influenced by the styles of the industry's heavy hitters (Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Flo-rida, LMFAO) they combine the bass thumping genre of Electro and the rhythmic but in-your-face genre of hip-hop providing a story behind each one of their tunes. Starstruck has performed all over New York state including, but not limited to, Turning Stone Resort and Casino, SUNY Colleges, various night clubs, and their latest performance being at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.

Currently, the two are planning on the grand opening of a production at 140 Front street in Binghamton, NY. Their goal is to help musicians explore their creativity to the fullest extent, creating an environment for newer, younger musicians to learn and be heard by establishing partnerships between local high school’s and organizations. The two also plan on releasing a new full-length album in the near future.
