I am trying to lose weight. I am starting to realize that if I want to be successful I need to make small but important changes in my eating patterns.

For example, I allow myself to eat fast food. But, if I do, I need to walk into the restaurant to get the food and not sit in my car to order and eat it. And, surprisingly, it is starting to work. Because, the more of those small changes I make, the more I want to do better.

Well, here is another example of why we need to stop hitting the drive through.

A recent study shows that the more fast food you suck down, the higher your depression risk. Researchers think the processed menu items lack nutrients that boost mood, such as good fat and complex carbs. (Cosmopolitan)
