As most school aged kids in and around the Southern Tier prepare to go back to school this week, I thought I'd share a really heartwarming story about a stranger who changed the life of a little girl.

Lynnette took her daughter to a clothing store so that she could try on some dresses for the upcoming school season. While she was helping her little girl try on clothes, Lynnette says a complete stranger overheard the conversation that the two of them were having about not being able to afford all of the dresses.

Moments later, the woman stunned Lynette and her daughter by offering to buy all of the dresses and the stranger said that she didn't want anything in return. She just wanted to spread some kindness.

Lynnette wrote on Facebook, "Justine was trying on school clothes when a beautiful stranger overheard our conversation in the dressing room about finances being tight. (She) came to me and asked if it would be OK if she bought her ALL the dresses that my daughter had tried on. I accepted, we hugged and cried and blessed each other! This life is filled with the most wonderful kind people that I am truly blessed to come into contact with!! Thank you, Becca." Lynnette added, "You did God's work today and we are truly thankful!"

If someone has done something kind for you or someone you know, we'd love to hear your story. Share your Lovin' Moement with us here and you could win a $50 McDonald's gift card- enough to treat yourself to a meal with more than enough left over to pay kindness forward to someone else by buying them a meal, too!
