Student Arrested After Bomb Threat found at DCMO BOCES Campus

A Delaware, Chenango, Madison, Otsego BOCES student is facing a felony charge after a threatening note, indicating a bomb was found at the Harrold Campus in Masonville just before dismissal time March 6.

The campus was evacuated and students transported to their home schools.

Delaware County Sheriff’s officials say a search by Deputies, New York State Police and the State Police bomb detection dog, Loc, found no explosive device.

A 16 year old boy is charged with falsely reporting an incident.

The Unatego boy was arrested March 7 then released on his own recognizance pending his next appearance in Town of Meredith Court.
