My sister is currently pregnant with her first child, and she has been actively avoiding everything that doctors say a pregnant woman should avoid     sushi, deli meats, soft cheeses, and everything else that's good in the world.

But now studies are showing that women who are pregnant should not take Tylenol either. As if they weren't sacrificing enough for their children already. Now they have to suffer through those aches and pains of pregnancy.

The studies are correlating taking Tylenol (acetaminophen) during pregnancy to signs of weakening the babies' immune system and leading to hyperactivity when the baby is in adolescence, as well as other behavioral health problems.

Doctors are now suggesting more natural pain relieving solutions, such as meditation or acupuncture. I'm thinking that maybe your partner could even give you a nice massage!

Tylenol, or acetaminophen, is a drug, so always talk to your doctor before you take it if you're pregnant.
