Yesterday was Memorial Day and that means the unofficial beginning of summer! After this last winter, when it was so horrible and bitter cold, we are all looking forward to summer. But with summer, comes some fashion mistakes that you don't want to make.

Here are a few mistakes we see every summer that we should avoid!

1. Lack of clothes. Just because it's warm doesn't mean to let everything hang out! We have all seen people who's shirts don't cover their bellies when they really should. Or the super short shorts. Cover up!

2. Socks with sandals. Why wear sandals if you're going to put socks on too?! Sandals are air conditioning for your feet....don't ruin that with socks.

3. Too much fake tanner. We are supposed to be careful about getting too much sun exposure, so many people turn to self tanners. I think that's a great option. I use them sometimes. But you have to be careful not to use too much because you can look orange. A little goes a long way! And make sure you rub it in really good so it's not streaky.

4. Getting too sun burnt. There are times we all get a little too much sun and get sun burnt. But then there are times when people go out in the sun, no sun screen and think I'll just get a sun burn and it will turn into a tan. Sun burns don't look good and really don't feel good! And then you peel and that is not a good look!

5. Revealing bathing suits. This kind of goes along with the first tip we talked about but this is another fashion mistake we see all the time and want to avoid! We have all been at the beach or pool and seen someone who you can't help but look at. Their suit might be too small for them or just too revealing. Very few people can pull off a revealing swim suit that leaves nothing to the imagination. And whether you can or not, most of these places have families and children and it's just not right.

What fashion mistakes do you see people make when the weather turns warmer?
