Food-A-Bago

Over 13 million children suffered from hunger/food-insecurity last year - We're teaming up with Broome County CHOW & Fidelis Care to accept food donations!

It's that time of year again! Food-A-Bago is coming up starting on Monday October 31st. and going through Monday November 7th with Wild 104 and Fidelis Care. When you are out doing your grocery shopping, grab a few extra non-perishable food items to drop off at our camper to help local families have a better Thanksgiving...

In times of need, residents of Broome County and beyond come out in full force. These are some of those people.

I went to help out with Food-A-Bago last Saturday and Mr. Bentley was not wanting his mommy to leave him alone another morning, so I took him with me. He was soooo happy! He walked in, well actually I carried him in because he couldn't get up the steps and he was my co-worker Randy and of course had to give him a big Bentley kiss...

I just visited Louie G out at the Food-A-Bago, and we are way behind where we were last year.  The Food-A-Bago is the Jim's RV Camper we have sitting in the parking lot of the Weis Market on Upper Front Street.  Louie G is out there collecting non-perishable food to help the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse restock their pantry after what has been a year of great need.

Judging by my trip to the grocery store on Sunday night, many of us heeded the warning to stock up on food before the storm.  Fortunately for our area, the power stayed on for most of us, and the storm wasn't the tragedy it could have been.   Now that you've over-filled your pantry, help us stock up CHOW's pantry with our annual Food-A-Bago food drive starting Monday.
