One of the teams that comes out to my Tuesday Night Trivia calls themselves the 'Hot Tamales', and show up every week to have fun, and try to win 1st place. They are also very creative around all of the holidays, and Halloween has been no exception. Amy, one of the 'Tamales', gave me these trick-or-treats last night. CEREAL KILLERS!!!
I'm not ashamed to admit, I'm too old for Downtown. State Street belongs to the college kids, which is why I'm happy to be hosting Wild 104's Halloween Costume party at Antonio's Galleria and Cafe in Endicott Saturday night.
When I was growing up, my favorite thing to do at Halloween was to make my own costume from scratch. Scratch usually meant cardboard, duct tape, spray paint, and electronic components repurposed from toys and household appliances. If I could make it light up, or make sounds, I did. My favorite of these costumes was Max Headroom, and it was the year I got a NINJA STAR in my trick-or-treat bag.
