Maxim Hot 100: Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Beyonce + More Make the List
We already know Miley Cyrus is No. 1 on Maxim's Hot 100 list, since she blew up their spot over the weekend and revealed the big news before they did!

The 2013 Met Gala (aka the Met Ball) was last night (May 6) in NYC, and plenty of pop stars were in attendance, turning heads in an array of beautiful (and sadly, some questionable) gowns. The theme was 'Punk: Chaos to Couture,' and many A-listers interpreted it quite literally, like Miley Cyrus, while others, such as Madonna and Gwen Stefani, played with the concept. Standouts, for better or worse, included Beyonce (in Givenchy); Taylor Swift (in J. Mendel); and Katy Perry, who wore a crown with Dolce & Gabbana.
Katy Perry attended the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, April 27, going green in a lovely, strapless Giambattista Valli gown with a bit of an iridescent pallor.
The pop stars were out and about at Coachella 2013, on the festival grounds and beyond, this past weekend. They soaked up the sun, absorbed the music and took in the Lacoste and Guess parties, fraternizing with one another. Rita Ora and Katy Perry dressed accordingly -- cute but for comfort -- while two-thirds of the Jonas Brothers were all over the place. That'd be Joe and Nick.

Katy Perry's Coachella Festival chic on Friday (April 12) came screaming from the '90s.
Remember a few years ago when Katy Perry and Russell Brand were inseparable? And in love? And, you know, married?
Apparently she doesn't. When rumors hit that Perry may have been swapping spit with her now-ex husband, she deftly and maturely denied them. Well, maybe not maturely.
John Mayer and Katy Perry broke up despite being doting upon one another in public (even when dressed like this), so it came as a bit of a surprise when the news hit.
But the reasoning behind the breakup isn't too shocking. New sources say it was mostly due to scheduling conflicts between the two pop stars. Despite, you know, them being able to afford private jets to take them to visit one another whenever they feel like it. (Just saying.)
Katy Perry proved to be too much for John Mayer, who couldn't deliver the level of commitment the candy-coated, whipped cream shooting starlet needed.
Sources close to the pair said their breakup was a long time coming, and that nothing was as rosy as it seemed.
Howard Stern grilled Russell Brand on ex-wife Katy Perry and her new relationship with John Mayer. Brand and Mayer both have reps for being ladies men, so Stern basically had the guts, as he always does, to ask the question on everyone's mind. We all want to know what he's thinking and feeling.
Russell Brand is remaining a mensch following his divorce from Katy Perry.
The 'Brand X' host has yet to say a bad or dirty word about the pop starlet, even when egged on by the perversely curious Howard Stern. (Seriously, Stern -- you're married to Beth Ostrosky. Do you really need to live vicariously through every man on your show?)
