Here is what this week’s letter writes:

"I've been on Facebook for a while, and have about 500 friends. Most of the people I've met at some point in my life, and I don't accept friend requests from people I don't know. A guy I have one mutual friend with recently sent me a request. I didn't accept it.  And now, three months later, he sent me an angry message about 'dissing' him. Why would someone I don't even know get mad at me for not accepting a friend request?  Should I even bother responding to him?"

Well maybe he's 'interested' in you and felt rejected. Whatever the reason I think I would respond and say something like "I'm sorry I didn't accept your friend request, I only add people who I know personally and since I don't know you, I didn't add you. Let him know why. If he continues to send you angry messages then block him. But for whatever reason his feelings were hurt so I think the kind thing to to is explain your reasons behind not adding him.
