Vestal’s Jessica Myers Competes in TGI Friday’s 2012 World Bartender Championship

In August 2012, over 8,000 Friday’s bartenders from 60 countries competed in local, regional and then divisional World Bartender Championship competitions in hopes of landing one of the 10 finalists spots in the ultimate event, T.G.I. Friday's World Bartender Championship.
The top ten bartenders will face off at the 2012 World Bartender Championship which will be held at the House of Blues in Dallas, Texas, on March 6, 2013. The finalists represent the best-of-the best from around the globe and will compete in a variety of skills tests like: compulsory and speed rounds, and in a freestyle showcase to determine who will earn the title of “World's Best Bartender.”

Our local TGI Friday's actually has one of it's bartenders who has made it to the top 10! Her name is Jessica Myers. She is also the only female in the competition. Jessica lives in Vestal and has been bartending at Friday's for 12 years. How exciting would it be to help her win!! You can read Jessica's bio and cast your vote for her here.
