10 Most Painful Places to Get a Tattoo

Are you thinking about getting a tattoo? Not sure where you should get it? Are you worried about the pain of getting a tattoo and wonder where the most painful and least painful places are? Well there is a tattoo artist who came up with a list of the body parts where clients complain about being the most painful. Check out his list.

According to tattoo artist Andy Eschenbach from Cincinnati here are the ten most painful places to get a tattoo based on the body parts his clients complain the most about.

1. Head
2. Face
3. Sternum
4. Hand...especially your palm. I don't think I have ever seen a tattoo on someones palm.
5. Elbow...although according to Andy, a surprising number of people also don't feel much pain there.
6. Ribcage and stomach
7. Butt cheeks...apparently the padding doesn't really help.
8. Inner thigh and knee
9. Ankle
10. Foot

Let's face it, tattoos anywhere aren't going to feel good. They're are needles puncturing your skin! Apparently the least painful places to get tattoos are the arms, lower legs and shoulders.
