I was sitting at my father's softball game yesterday scrolling through my Facebook feed (I know, should have been paying attention!) when I came across a status from my brother that read "RIP Robin Williams". My jaw dropped and I read it five more times to make sure that what I just read was real. Immediately I started hoping that it was one of those stupid hoaxes that you see so often on social media, but sadly that was not the case.

Contrary to what a lot of people often think when a celebrity passes away, you don't have to personally know someone to be deeply saddened by their passing. I think a lot of us twenty-somethings can agree that Robin Williams played a huge role in our childhoods.

I can't even count how many times I watched Aladdin with my brother and sang along with every song and said every line of the Genie. Mrs. Doubtfire still remains one of my favorite movies of all time. I think we all wanted Mrs Doubtfire to be our nanny growing up. The list continues with movies like Jumanji, Hook, Jack, RV, Flubber and more.

It didn't matter what the talk show, sitcom,  or movie was because if Robin Williams was on the show you just knew it would be worth watching! I can't imagine what his family is going through during this unbelievably rough time. I know myself as well as his millions of fans around the world are thinking of them.

There are certain scenes from his many movies that have always stood out to me. Today I am taking the time to share with you some of my favorite Robin Williams moments:

My absolute favorite: "I don't work with the males 'cause I used to be one"

May you rest in peace, Robin Williams
