Dez Duron Delivers ‘Wanted’ for Team Christina on ‘The Voice’
Teen heartthrob Dez Duron charmed the crowd once again on tonightâs episode of âThe Voiceâ (Nov. 7), his delivery of Hunter Hayesâ âWantedâ earning him quite an enthusiastic audience response.
âWell, the good news is, the girls really love you,â Adam Levine remarked over the crowd’s loud, emphatic cries. But he went on to point out that the singer has more than just good looks. âI think youâve got a really great voiceâ¦the best part about your voice is the precision between the runs.â He was also sure to compliment Duronâs good taste in clothing, as they both wore eerily similar outfits.
âHow dare you not pick me as your coach and then come out here and sing a country song!â came Blake Sheltonâs good-natured complaint. He then agreed with Levine about Duron’s impressive vocal abilities.
His coach Christina Aguilera gave him a standing ovation, but she also mentioned that sheâd like to see even more flavor from him. She urged him to add his own âDez twistâ to future performances to make him even more irresistible.
Constructive criticism aside, she sang his praises as well. âIâve seen such an improvement from youâ¦You nailed it! You did everything spot on. To look like that, to shine like that, to have the stage charismaâ¦and then to sing that wayâ¦you are entirely the full package. You have it all.â
âAmerica, how can you not love this guy?â Aguilera finished with a smile.
