I don't know if I'll ever get a tattoo. I definitely don't have anything against them and some of the people I love the most in life sport tats. My grandpa has tattoos on his forearms from his days in the Navy and my brother, Jeff has a "JJ" tattoo on his arm.

When we were kids, I used to call my brother "Jerky Jeff" because he was a pain in the behind. The name was shortened to "JJ" and stuck so I guess that's why Jeff decided to have those letters permanently placed on his body.

I've thought about getting a tattoo. I've thought about getting a small one on the inside of my wrist, but each time I think I've found the tattoo I can't live without, I find another one that I like even better. My indecisiveness is a big reason I don't know if I'll get a tattoo. I change my mind and get bored with things so I don't want to get something permanent for fear of not liking it once it's done.

There's a new app though that could change things for me, and maybe for you. If you've ever seen a really cool tattoo on someone and wondered how it might look on you, there's now a way to find out without going under the needle. The app is called Ink Hunter.

The Ink Hunter app uses what's called "Augmented Reality" and it allows you to "try on" a tattoo by uploading a picture, then drawing a smiley face on the part of your body where you'd like the tattoo placed. You then point and shoot and the image temporarily appears.
