I am so guilty of not getting the right amount of sleep. From personal experience, I can tell you that when I don't get enough sleep my food choices that day are very bad. I crave sugary things...I believe it is because I am looking for some energy.

Well, according to new research, there is another issue with lack of sleep.

Sleep apnea can make it harder to read facial expressions. German researchers found that people whose sleep was disturbed by apnea were worse than good sleepers at reading sad expressions and perceiving happiness.

The condition may impair some brain connectivity. And if you don't want an old-man voice, sing more. Study participants who sang at least once a week had steadier-sounding voices as they aged. Singing may help you control air pressure and the movement of your vocal folds, say researchers. (Men's Health)
