One Specific Scent Can Make People Trust You

If you are selling your house, experts have said that certain scents such as, apple pie or pumpkin, help with the sale. But, did you know there is one certain smell that will make people trust you?

A new study from Leiden University in the Netherlands found that the scent of lavender actually makes people trust you more. Researchers did a trust exercise in 3 different rooms, one smelling like lavender, one smelling like peppermint, and the other with no scent.

People who were in the lavender room were significantly more likely to trust their partner than people in the other two rooms. (Time.com)
