The pandemic cancelled most of the season last year and there were no spectators allowed in the stands. But fans and wagering are back in time for the Kentucky Derby this weekend, which traditionally marks the start of harness racing at Tioga Downs in Nichols.

The track and casino in Tioga County says live harness racing returns at 5 p.m. Saturday.  Spectators will be allowed to enter the grandstand and trackside viewing through the Mutuels Lobby with a capacity limit of 20 percent
