If you're expecting a baby in 2019, congratulations! Although my son is almost four, I still remember the excitement that came with planning to welcome a child into our lives. There were so many things to figure out, but what to name my son wasn't one of those things. All of the men on my husband's side of the family are named "John" and so in keeping with tradition, that was the name we bestowed on our son.

Picking out a girl's name just in case our little guy wasn't a boy (it's happened!) proved to be a little more difficult. Everyone on my husband's father's side of the family has the initials JL and we scoured so many websites in search of a girl's name that we both liked. It took about two months, but we finally agreed on the name  "Julianna Lillian." Obviously, we didn't get to use the name Julianna, but we're holding on to it on the off chance we get our wish and have another baby.
