We're not sure how this will go down in court, but innocent until proven guilty, right?

The passenger on Nelly's tour bus who admitted that the contraband found (including over 10 pounds of marijuana, small amounts of heroin and a hand gun) were his has plead not guilty to drug possession charges.

At a border control checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas, police found tiny bags of heroin, over 10 pounds of marijuana and a loaded gun after canines alerted them to the substances. Bryan Keith Jones admitted that drugs and gun were his. He was taken into custody and Nelly and the rest of the crew were let go. Jones was released on bail yesterday morning (Oct. 13).

Despite admitting that the items were his (dude, 10 pounds of weed?!), TMZ reports that Jones will likely fight the felony charges against him. For his part, Nelly insisted he had no clue any of those goods were on his tour bus. It is my understanding a member of my staff made an unfortunate decision to bring unlawful materials onto our tour bus that resulted in his arrest this morning,” Nelly said Friday night (Oct. 12). “Neither I nor anyone else on the tour bus was aware of his decision to bring these on board. Law enforcement officials did not press charges against anyone other than that individual.”

Tour bus companies have begun taking extra precautions for the now-infamous checkpoint, where Fiona Apple, Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg also faced issues. Several companies told TMZ that they're warning their celebs "to abandon all illicit items if they do happen to sneak some aboard." Meanwhile, one line told the site, “It’s just idiotic. Just plain idiotic to risk having something like that on board. You’d have to be stupid to allow that kind of stuff on the bus. That’s why we make sure that doesn’t happen on our line.” Amen to that!
