City of Binghamton Police say two teenage boys are being charged in the attempted armed robbery of a First Ward arcade.

Monday, March 26, two suspects allegedly threatened an employee of Robot City Games on Clinton Street with what appeared to be a handgun.

Police arrested a 14 year old and a 15 year old boy and charged with felony attempted robbery.  The boys’ were sent to the Hillbrook Juvenile Detention Facility in Syracuse.

Officials say the boys had apparently been armed with a realistic replica B-B type pistol in the robbery attempt before fleeing on foot.

The teens were located on Murray Street near Clinton Street and taken into custody.

The store employee was not injured during a brief struggle with the boys.
