U.K. Couple Wears Their Wedding Clothes on their 50th Anniversary

A couple in Staffordshire, U.K. celebrated being married for fifty years by putting on the same clothes that they wore at their wedding in 1966. It's incredible to think that they still fit into their dress and tuxedo!

The Stanfields, Carole-Ann and Jim, explain that their granddaughter insisted that they try on the garments to see if they still fit, and sure enough they did! Now being married to the same person for fifty years is a great thing to celebrate, but knowing you are the same size you were fifty years ago is also something to celebrate, too!

They held a party with all of their friends and family to celebrate the anniversary and shocked and surprised everyone by wearing their wedding clothes.

The couple who honeymooned in Malta fifty years ago, are now planning a second honeymoon to Turkey.

And what is the secret to their long-lasting love? Carole-Ann says, "We have very different interests and hobbies, but the laughter is what keeps us strong."
