When you think about going out on Valentine's Day, you usually imagine a fancy dinner, with roses and chocolates on the table, right? Maybe this year, you and your significant other can try something new and unique to do on Valentine's Day. Here are some ideas for dates that are far from typical.

  • Volunteer at the local humane society and maybe consider adopting a pet together! Animal shelters are not the first place you think of when it comes to going on a date, but with so much love between you and yours, why don't you extend that love on some cats and dogs?
  • Get physical by going bowling or going roller skating together. You two can work up a sweat while enjoying each other's company.
  • If you two are morning people, wake up in time to watch the sunrise! Maybe make your significant other breakfast afterwards, too.
  • Hit the road and explore a nearby city or town that you have never had the chance to explore before. Who knows what you'll discover!

Be creative with your partner and do something you've never done before this Valentine's Day. You just might learn a lot about yourself and your date. It could even be fun!
