Winter isn't quite here yet, but the Weather Channel is ready.

The cable channel has unveiled its list of the names for the storms that may hit this winter, the fourth straight season it will utilize monikers to identify storms.

While many people take issue with the idea storms are named like hurricanes, the Weather Channel's Domenica Davis says there is logic behind it, namely giving a title can help people spread the word on social media "and potentially save some lives" when discussing brutal weather.

Most names are references to Greek mythology, but our favorite one on the list? Yolo. While it's known as "you only live once," it also is the name of a California county.
