Wegman’s Supermarket Named Best in the Country

If you've been in the market for a new supermarket then you may have just found your answer.

According to Consumer Reports, after crunching all of the numbers, Wegman's tops the list of the best supermarkets in the country!

What are people looking for in a supermarket? Your grandmother may have said, the best price, years ago. But, today it is a great variety of healthy, unprocessed fruits, vegetables, meat, and fish — as well as more organics and local produce.

Wegman's vice president of media relations, Jo Natale explains why they are the best.

Natale also points to the fact that the chain is family-owned, not publicly traded, which “allows us to take a long-range view, invest in people, and grow at a controlled rate".
