The King of Song Parodies is at the top of the charts this week. "Weird Al" Yankovic has earned the first No. 1 album of his career with 'Mandatory Fun.'

The project sold over 104,000 units, according to preliminary numbers obtained by HitsDailyDouble.com. The success of the 54-year-old comedian's project is due to his massive video roll-out, which began last week.

Weird Al released eight videos spoofing some of the biggest hits of the last year including Iggy Azalea's 'Fancy,' Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' and Pharrell's 'Happy.'

Kontera, the Amobee Brand measurement company for web analytics, reports that Yankovic’s video exposure even beat out visuals from major stars like Beyonce.

His 2006 LP, 'Straight Outta Lynwood,' and his last effort, 2011’s 'Apocalypse,' entered the Top 10 but never quite reached the No. 1 spot.

The entertainer took to Twitter to share his enthusiasm and thank fans for helping him get to the top.
