Weird News Wednesday – You’ll Never Believe Why This Groom Didn’t Make it to the Reception

We have all heard about the "Runaway Bride", and I'm thinking she may be jealous of this bride. This bride got her wedding and reception, but it was all without the groom! 

Todd Sandefer, a 42-year-old man from Milnesville, Pennsylvania got married last week but between the ceremony and the reception, the police showed up.

Apparently Todd had four outstanding warrants, and according to police, Sandefer was wanted on two domestic relations warrants and two traffic citations.

Someone clearly knew about these warrants and tipped off the police that he was getting married and what church he would be at.

So after the ceremony he was taken to jail and missed the entire reception, which apparently went on without him.

Here is the best part - His bride visited him in jail four days later and it wasn't to bail him out. She actually went to the prison to get his rented tuxedo back so she didn't have to pay a late fee.

At last report, he was still locked up.
