Sometimes I see a happy person and I want to know what their secret is. Or, are they on some sort of illegal substance. Either way, we all want to be truly happy.

Well, there is one thing that happy people have in common....good teeth!

An annual survey that ranks cities by their happiness and well-being just came out.  And the researchers found that the happiest people in America all seem to have one strange thing in common.  Good teeth.

Apparently people who are happy go to the dentist and take care of their teeth.  Happy people are also more likely to be satisfied with their jobs, eat healthier, and exercise more.  Happy people sound awful.  I like my gingivitis and gravy.

The survey found the happiest city in the country is Naples, Florida.  The rest of the top five are Salinas, California . . . Sarasota, Florida . . . Fort Collins, Colorado . . . and Barnstable Town, Massachusetts.

The least happy city is Charleston, West Virginia.  It finished just below Fort Smith, Arkansas . . . Hickory, North Carolina . . . Huntington, West Virginia . . . and Chico, California.

When you look at states overall, the five happiest are Alaska . . . Hawaii . . . South Dakota . . . Wyoming . . . and Montana.  The five least happy are West Virginia . . . Kentucky . . . Indiana . . . Ohio . . . and Mississippi. (The Washington Post)
