What To Think About After You Get Engaged

Congratulations! If you've just become engaged then you probably have a lot of thoughts going on in your mind about planning for your wedding. Bustle has a few things that you should really be focusing on right after getting engaged.

• Whose opinions matter to you and your fiancé(e) because everyone is going to want to contribute their thoughts and ideas with you, but you need to remember who matters most and who you want to listen to.
• A rough idea of your budget for your wedding so that things don't spiral out of control too quickly. You don't want to fall in love with a venue that you can't afford or a dress that you don't even have the money to look at let alone purchase.
• How many people you want to invite especially if you and your fiancé(e) don't agree to the number. The amount of people there helps to figure out your budget because catering for thirty people versus three hundred is very different price-wise.
