I'm sure I'm not the only one who loves this time of year. Yes, I'm that person that breaks out my Christmas CD's two months before Santa arrives. Honestly, give me The Hallmark Channel featuring a cheesy holiday movie and I'm a happy camper!

Just when I thought I knew everything there was to know about Christmas, this tidbit about Santa's reindeer stumped me. The reindeer were introduced in an 1823 publication of 'A Visit From Saint Nicholas'. Sing with me now, 'We know Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Dunder and Blixem'. Wait, Dunder and Blixem?

Did you know that 2 of Santa's reindeer were originally named Dunder and Blixem? Me either! They were later changed to Donner and Blitzen, which means thunder and lightening. (mnn.com)

So, when you're at a holiday party, wearing an ugly sweater and scratching your head at what to talk about, this will make you seem like a genius!
