How Will You Spend Your Tax Refund? [POLL]

Well it's that time of year, time for taxes! Hopefully you're getting a refund. So how do you plan on spending it? Will you be responsible and pay bills? Will you spend it on clothes, or perhaps a trip?

The National Foundation for Credit Counseling asked 1,000 people how they plan to spend their refund this year. Here are their responses:

1. 68% of people will use it to pay off debt....(those are the responsible ones!)

2. 15% will spend it on something they need, meaning basic necessities.

3. 11% will put it in their savings account.

4. 4% still haven't decided how they'll spend it.  

5. Only 2% will spend it on non-essentials, like a vacation or a shopping spree.

I used some of mine to remodel my daughter's room. She has been wanting a 'grown up' bedroom makeover for quite some time now.
