The holiday season is in full swing, and that means festive fun in the Southern Tier as well as charity events. 'Tis the season of giving, so give yourself a treat by heading out this weekend and throughout the season.

Here's what's going on:

Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, 210 Hill Ave in Endicott, is having a Christmas bake sale with pickup on December 20th. Phone orders only! They must be in by December 13th. Call 785-4710 or 687-6429.

If you have fines at the Broome County Public Library, you can reduce them and help out CHOW! Between December 1st and the 31st, you will get $1 off your fines for each non-perishable food item you bring in. No fines? Bring food in to help CHOW anyway.

The Endicott Elks Club's Friday night dinner is ham and scalloped potatoes along with their regular menu. Serving from 5 to 7 pm.

The Warren Center Community Building plays host to the Christmas country craft show on Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. Lunch will be available.

The Bridge Community Center, 143 Baldwin Street in JC, is having their Grand Opening Celebration on December 4th from 3 to 7 pm. Enjoy the Christmas celebration with tree trimming, cookies and more!
