Is It Too Soon to Put Up Christmas Decorations?

Halloween has come and gone and it seems like the holiday season is already underway! There have been holiday decorations available in stores for months and starting now, you won't be able to walk into a store without hearing Christmas music. Even downtown Binghamton has gotten a head start on the season.

A couple of weeks ago, I looked out my office window and noticed that not only were the wreaths lining the streets of Downtown Binghamton, but they were lit! Now don't get me wrong, Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday and I love looking at how everyone decorates. However, I would like to enjoy each holiday as it comes. I feel like Thanksgiving gets buried in between Trick-or-Treating and Christmas!

So that leaves the big question hanging. When is the right time to put up Christmas decorations? Is it too soon?!

By the way, there's one thing I'll never complain about...the Starbucks Holiday cups are back!
